This policy covers people who visit and use this website and contact us through it. Data we handle inside a client engagement is governed by that engagement’s written agreement.

What we collect from you

We collect only what the site needs to work and to reply to you:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, company name if you give one, your message, and — only if you choose to provide it — a mobile number together with your SMS consent choice.
  • Client engagements: the business information, system access and data you give us so that we can scope, build and operate a system for you. That data is handled under the written agreement for your engagement, which controls over this policy where they differ.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, kept for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use advertising trackers on this site. If we add analytics, it will be privacy-respecting and disclosed here.

How we use it

  • To reply to your message and arrange a discovery call.
  • To scope, build, deliver and support the system you engaged us for.
  • To invoice and keep the records an engagement requires.
  • To protect the site from abuse and fraud.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell information about our website visitors or clients to anyone, and we do not use client data to train models for anyone else.

Text messages (SMS)

Phone numbers you provide to us are used only for the messages you asked for: replies about your enquiry, engagement or support, and, if you opted in on our text-alerts sign-up, BrightLeads marketing text messages. Phone numbers collected on this site are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS opt-in consent is not transferred to anyone.

You receive text messages only if you give us your mobile number and tick a consent box — on our contact form (messages about your enquiry) or on the text-alerts sign-up (BrightLeads marketing messages) — or otherwise ask us in writing to text you. Leaving a consent box unchecked never stops a form from sending. You can stop at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help, or contact support@brightenterprisestech.com. Who we share it with

Only service providers we need to run the site and deliver an engagement — hosting, email delivery, text-message delivery, payment processing, and, for a system we are building for you, the cloud and AI-model providers named in your statement of work — and only what each one needs to do its job. They are not permitted to use your information for anything else. We will disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages: until resolved, then up to 12 months. Engagement records and invoices: for as long as the law and our contracts require. SMS consent records: for as long as we may text you, plus four years. Server logs: 90 days.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. Write to support@brightenterprisestech.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the version number at the top changes with it and the previous version stays available on request.
